Self Respect

The word Self Respect is small for those who do not want to keep. But who does not feel that their self-respect is important. Be it educated or uneducated. There is minor difference when the self-respect turns to ego and that is something one need to be careful about.

Self-Respect is at times a self-explanatory word, but still if we want to break it into simple words then it is a confidence in a way we carry ourselves. While it is necessary to not let people take us for granted. At times the love that we have for people make us forget our oneself and in all this we forget that we could make something for ourselves and let people rule us, rule us out of our own beliefs and views. Stating a disrespect as if “Their mood must be bad” “They might not be feeling right” And tons of other reasons. Well we need to think that those are reasons and reasons only as somewhere deep down everyone knows that no matter what we are feel we cannot let people to destroy it in the name of love, but some might call it letting it go.

We the generation of today shout to the world that we are practical, but in this practicality we forget that we have emotions too and those emotions at times might overpower us to a great extent. Then what? Where all those practical perspective does goes? Well is it the drain or is there some other pipe line where it stays. As those people at times turn biased about their opinions. 

You can do one thing to give a reality check to yourself whenever you are in a fix. Ask yourself that if the words spoken or the action taken is done by a third party then what would be your reaction. Would it be the same as you reacted right now? or would it differ? 

If the same would differ then you need to ask yourself another one. Are you letting it go as these things are too petty to hold onto or is it just Love for the person? 

As the people putting a scar on your self-respect are the ones most closest to us. 

So today let us just take a peep inside of us as to see what all is happening is it what we want or is it just a facade.
