Society - "समाज क्या कहेगा "
This word rings a bell to all of us some with rage and some who is not able to put their feelings in some kind of words right. Well at times I too feel the same. I just want to know what exactly is this Society? Who exactly does it consist of?
I mean who are those innumerable people who affects our life on daily basis and we are not even aware of them. I mean in India i have heard this statement quite common "समाज क्या कहेगा " Which means, what will the society say? and the other common words would be "लोग क्या कहेंगे " which means, what will people say?
To all those people who said "समाज क्या कहेगा " just tell me one thing where are you people when someone is being harnessed, where are you people when someone is being abused, where are you people when someone is suffering. You would give me an answer we are not someone who has all the time in the world to look after all these things. It happened and what would I do in it. Basically something like this would only be the answer to all the above questions to the infinite.
All these people want to take a narrow escape as they want to mind their own business, but when the same time comes they will not move back a step before giving their comment. Well there will come their democracy to the fact that yes they have Freedom of Speech. Then where is the freedom of other when they want to live and mind their own business..
Growing up I have always heard about people saying you should not do this as "समाज क्या कहेगा " and the list would go on and on..
Someone please enlighten me who does fall in this category of society. Rules of the society are meant for betterment of our living but why do the rules change at every nooks and corner. Why are they not always the same. Why does the same change when the same thing happen in your household.
So today to all those lovely friends of mine around I want to tell you one thing and I want you to think about it and then spread it around..
Who are these people who fall in the zone of Society are they like you and me then I am sure today's generation have that rage, when they hear the words "समाज क्या कहेगा" So let us bring the change by asking all those people back, please tell us who fall in this criteria of Society as we want to ask some questions to them as I am damn sure people are so selfish that they have different opinion on everything breaking and bending their made rules into a way which makes it comfortable and flexible for them.
We all have faced a situation where at one point there would be someone damn close to us saying that you cannot so this, "समाज क्या कहेगा ", this is not meant for us. So this is a necessary for a betterment.
So today break a rule and when someone say don't that is the moment you look back in their eyes and say "Why not?" and just remember the song humming it in mind when you feel the world against you...
"कुछ तो लोग कहेंगे...
लोगो का काम है कहना"
So live your life to the fullest..
